Foals

Foals are a five-piece English indie rock band from Oxford, formed in 2005. The band consists of Yannis Philippakis (lead vocals, lead guitar, drums), Jack Bevan (drums, percussion), Jimmy Smith (rhythm guitar, rhodes, synthesizer, backing vocals), Walter Gervers (bass, sampler, percussion, backing vocals) and Edwin Congreave (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals). As you can see they use a wide variety of instruments, what assigns a very complex sounding to their music. Their genres are indie rock, alternative rock, art rock, post-rock, experimental rock, and a little bit of alternative indie as well. They've already released 4 studio albums: Antidotes (2008), Total Life Forever (2010), Holy Fire (2013) and their last one is quite fresh, released this year  in August, called What Went Down. Check out their official webpage here: http://www.foals.co.uk/splash/outnow. I love them precisely because they produce such complex sounds. You have to listen carefully to hear every little detail of a song. It's beautiful. It was a big deal to designate a single song, so then in the end I chose a song from their last album, called London Thunder. Enjoy!
