Alt-J is an English indie rock band, formed in 2007 in Leeds, England. They're also an alternative band and their genres are art rock, experimental rock, indie rock and a bit of electronic. But actually I wouldn't say that they're connected in any kind of way with rock. The band members are: Gwil Sainsbury (guitar,bass) Joe Newman (guitar,lead vocals), Gus Unger-Hamilton (keyboards,vocals) and Thom Green (drums). Sadly they've only released one studio album yet. It's called An Awesome Wave (2012). I couldn't find their official site so I don't think that they have one but they do have a facebook site. So here is it: https://www.facebook.com/altJ.band. And I like them because the sonority of their songs are just really awesome. Somehow their songs increase my creativity so I really like to listen them, while drawing or making some creative stuff.
